Tim Hostage scored the game-tying goal with 36 seconds left in regulation and then the game winning goal in overtime as Algonquin (7-2, 7-0 Mid-Wach A) boys lacrosse came from behind to top Shrewsbury, 9-8, in overtime on Wednesday.  

The Tomahawks trailed 8-4 in the fourth quarter before going on a 5-0 run to close out the game. 

Algonquin hosts Wachusett on Friday at 4 p.m.

MEDWAY 18, ASHLAND 10: Sean Murphy scored six goals with four assists as Medway (6-2) defeated Ashland (3-4).

The Mustangs travel to Holliston on Friday at 4 p.m.

The Clockers host Dover-Sherborn on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

MEDFIELD 20, BELLINGHAM 0: Bellingham (1-6) was shut out by Tri-Valley League powerhouse Medfield. 

The Blackhawks travel to Norwood on Friday at 3:45 p.m.

Girls Lacrosse

ASHLAND 14, MEDWAY 8: Senior Sarah Da Silva scored four goals with three assists and junior Allie Loughlin scored three goals with four assists as Ashland (4-3-1) defeated Medway (4-4). 

Lauren Beach scored a game-high six goals for the Mustangs. 

The Clockers travel to Dover-Sherborn on Friday at 4 p.m.

Baseball

NATICK 9, BROOKLINE 8 (9 innings): Sam Shuster had a clutch pinch-hit home run and Ryan Maltzman pushed across the game-tying RBI in the seventh as Natick (4-6) came from behind to beat Brookline in extra-innings.
