IRON MOUNTAIN — The community is invited to be part of the Emperor, his close friends and subjects, and the chaotic silkworms Saturday when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 40 neighborhood college students present “The Emperor’s New Garments.”
The authentic musical adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen typical will be done at 3 and 5:30 p.m. at the Braumart Civic Middle, 106 E. B St. in downtown Iron Mountain.
Participating in the title character of the Emperor is community scholar Ethan Servia. Other showcased performers include things like Joey Chicken as ManyPenny, Lucia Glime as Royal Scholar Roxy, and Conor Nelson as Royal Scholar Purple.
The Kings will be Carli Bischoff, Dawson Laitinen, Daniel Erickson and Caroline Mathis and the Queens will be Halianna Kusmitch, Alycia McConnell, Pleasure Oman and Sophia Richardson. The Money Council will be played by Akina Asanuma, Alivia Chicken, Timothy Erickson, Sarah Erickson, Sophie Glime, Sonja Hayes, Hunter Hulce and Carson Mills. Gem is Freya Hayes, while the Royal Jewelers are Ema Asanuma, Olivia Burton and Kiera Loomis. Boots is Brent Ackley, and the Royal Cobblers are Adelaide Husing, Elijah Laarman and Miranda Lyman. The Royal Hatters are Herb MacIntyre, Cecelia Michna and Jaden Netto, led by Signe Trindal as Lid. The Royal Tailors will be performed by Gabriel Ferguson and Anna Umbriaco and Jeremiah Michna will be Sew. And eventually, the Royal Silkworms will be played by Brades Burton,
Ga deKoster, Esther Erickson, Ulric Hayes, Mila Hoke, Catherine Majors, Jonathan Netto and Peyton Patton.
