Do you ever find yourself Google-ing “jobs that pay to travel”? Do you fancy the thought of starting a new life on an exotic island? If yes, you’ve landed in the right place. There’s a family that’s recruiting a couple to take over the domestic management of their household on their private island in the Bahamas.

Now, let’s cut to the chase. The job posted by Polo & Tweed on April 28, states that they are looking for an experienced domestic couple to work for their family homes, based between Naples, Florida and Bahamas, during weekdays-8am to 5pm Monday to Friday-with private accommodation provided. If the idea of striking blue water and sandy beaches does not appeal to you, remember that the Bahamas estate consists of four houses with four bedrooms in each home. You will also be managing their large country estate in Florida that includes three houses.

Throw all those college degrees out of the window as the “easy-going and relaxed” family is looking for someone who is “discreet and well-mannered”, and is “warm and lovely”. This might get overwhelming now as the family is also looking for someone who would be ready to travel to other locations around the world, if required.
If you talk about the special skills they’re looking for, the JD mentions that “you must be highly organised and have previously worked in private family settings.”

If living in a luxurious estate in an exotic island and travelling on private jets, while being paid ₹1cr a year wasn’t enough, there are some additional perks that you must be made aware of. There will be health care and dental benefits and a car will be provided for work duties.
According to a UK website, Lucy Challenger, founder of domestic recruiter Polo & Tweed, said, “We have been inundated with replies since the job went live on our website over the weekend. But we’ve yet to compile a short list so we would urge interested couples to send through their CVs without delay.”
So, what are you waiting for?
