FLINT – Five Flint-area boys basketball teams remain in the hunt for state championships after winning their respective district tournaments last week.
Two will square off in the first round of the regionals this week. Grand Blanc and Flushing will meet in the Division 1 Midland Dow regional although the game will be played at Grand Blanc for travel reasons.
Corunna and Goodrich are still alive in Division 2 while International Academy of Flint advanced to the Division 4 regionals.

Division 1
At Midland Dow
March 30 – Flushing (12-5) vs. Grand Blanc (10-2), 7 p.m. (at Grand Blanc); Marquette (12-3) vs. Midland (10-5), 7 p.m. (at Traverse City Central)
April 1 – Championship game, 7 p.m.
Winner advances to quarterfinal at Davison vs. winner of White Lake Lakeland regional
Division 2
At Croswell-Lexington
March 30 – Goodrich (12-3) vs. Croswell-Lexington (17-1), 5:30 p.m.; New Haven (7-5) vs. Pontiac Notre Dame Prep (9-6), 7:30 p.m.
April 1 – Championship game, 7 p.m.
Winner advances to quarterfinal vs. winner of Livonia Clarenceville regional.
At Owosso
March 30 – Corunna (14-4) vs. Bridgeport (14-2), 5:30 p.m.; Carrollton (12-4) vs. Shepherd (9-8), 7 p.m.
April 1 – Championship game, 7 p.m.
Winner advances to quarterfinal at Corunna vs. winner of Traverse City Central regional
Division 4
At Southfield Christian
March 30 – Marine City Cardinal Mooney (9-7) vs. International Academy of Flint (10-7), 5:30 p.m.; Clarkston Everest (15-1) vs. Southfield Christian (12-1), 7:30 p.m.
April 1 – Championship game, 7 p.m.
Winner advances to quarterfinal at West Bloomfield vs. winner of Ypsilanti Lincoln regional
