OSU basketball coaches set up for busy June visit schedule

Here are 2023 prospects due to make unofficial visits:

* Austin Parks, center, St. Marys (Ohio) Memorial, June 9 visit – The 6-9 Parks plays for Ohio Buckets Turf on the travel circuit. He is also attracting interest from Indiana and Penn State.

* Owen Freeman, power forward, Bradley (Ill.) Bradley-Bourbonnais, June 9 – The 6-9 Freeman has an Illinois offer and interest from Indiana, Iowa, OSU and others. He also has visits set with Illinois June 5, Butler June 6, Purdue June 7, Northwestern and Marquette June 15 and Wisconsin June 16. He plays for the Midwest Prospect Academy travel team.

* Xavier Booker, center, Indianapolis Cathedral, June 14 visit – The 6-10 Booker already has offers from Kansas State and LSU. He will visit Indiana in June. He plays for the George Hill travel program.

* Lawrent Rice, point guard, Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne, June 17 visit – The 6-3 Rice has offers from Kansas State and Purdue. OSU, Cincinnati, Dayton, Indiana and others have also been involved. He plays for the All-Ohio Red travel team.

* Rayvon Griffith, wing, Cincinnati Taft, visit date TBD – Griffith (ranked 25th nationally) has offers already from Cincinnati, Ohio State, Kansas, Oklahoma State and UCLA. He was due to make an unofficial visit to Cincinnati today. He plays for the Bates Fundamentals travel team.

* George Washington III, combo guard, Louisville (Ky.) Christian Academy, visit date TBD – The 6-2 Washington (ranked 74th nationally) has interest from OSU, Auburn, Louisville, Florida State and Purdue. He was due to visit Louisville today.

* Maki Johnson, combo guard, Scott Depot (W.Va.) Teays Valley Christian, visit date TBD – The 6-3 Johnson (ranked 72nd nationally) plays for the Wildcats Select travel team. He already has offers from Auburn, Kansas, Maryland, Nebraska, Virginia Tech and Xavier.

* Dailyn Swain, wing, Columbus Africentric, visit date TBD – The 6-6 Swain plays for the All-Ohio Red travel team. He has an offer from Ohio U. as well as interest from OSU, Xavier, Dayton and others.

* Gabe Cupps, point guard, Centerville, Ohio, visit date TBD – The 6-2 Cupps plays for the Midwest Basketball Club travel program. He has interest from Indiana, Wisconsin, OSU and others.
