Program Coordinator for Youth Rec Program | Employment

The Club, located in Dayton, is the Touchet Valley’s community after school, spring break, and summer youth recreation program. We are seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to work closely with the Director to enhance our program offerings. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Research, develop, and implement innovative activities that support social and emotional learning, healthy lifestyles, good character, academic success, and career development.
  • Assist the Director in marketing and advertising programs to meet present and future member interests.
  • Maintain contact with external community groups, schools, members’ parents/guardians, and others as necessary to help The Club be successful.
  • Work with program staff and volunteers to facilitate programs

A daily presence during all program hours is critical. The schedule is 2:00 – 6:00 PM on school days, with occasional variances due to early school releases, activities, and events. Up to two evenings per month will also be required for middle and high school events. Spring Break and summer program hours are up to 40 hours/week.

Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 DOE, with travel accommodations for applicants who do not live in or near Dayton.

Relevant experience is preferred, but not required. Ideal applicants will be dependable, adaptable, and have a passion for working with youth to help them grow and succeed. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. A criminal background check will be performed before hiring is completed.
