Posted: 3/10/22 | March 10th, 2022

In less than two months, our big travel conference, TravelCon, kicks off! TravelCon is a three-day conference that will connect media with industry leaders, influencers, and celebrated writers through keynote speeches, small-group writing and photography workshops, breakout tutorial sessions, networking events, and industry panels.

So, if you’re in the travel industry, this conference is the place to meet with brands, connect with your peers, and learn practical, to-the-point strategies for building your audience, growing your traffic, and making more money.

This year’s conference is April 29–May 1, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee, hosted by Memphis Tourism.

We have a ton of updates for you since we last wrote a month ago:

We still have a talk on reels, how the TikTok algorithm works, creating courses, and physical products to come too!

Sponsors

We’re going to have close to 40 sponsors at this year’s event. You’ll be able to take meetings, network, and make deals with them all. Here’s a list of who is coming so far:

We still have more on the way! Some other sponsors who are confirmed but don’t have their logos up yet include Alabama Tourism, Banff Tourism, Crabtree & Everlyn, Safety Wing, Get Your Guide, Go Rving, Seeker, and TripActions.

Workshop Information

As we’ve done in years past, we’re going to have photography and writing workshops. These are half-day, intensive, and hands-on classes that will occur the day before the main event (April 28th). Space is limited to 20 people per class and these workshops are an additional cost of $99 USD.

You can learn more about the writing workshop leaders by clicking here (we’re still lining up our photography workshop leaders). Sign-ups will open up on March 28th.

Some other highlights

There’s a bunch of other cool stuff happening at this year’s TravelCon that includes:

  • Over 15 niche meet-ups
  • Two awesome parties
  • A scavenger hunt around Memphis
  • Pre- and post-conference FAM trips around Memphis and the region
  • And a few more surprises I don’t want to spoil!

If you’re a travel creator, you need to be at TravelCon! I created it as a way to bring in experts inside and outside of the travel sphere that can help you grow your business, make more money, and improve your skills. It’s a continuing education conference that will transform your career.

So, come attend this event, mingle with your peers, make deals, and create the connections you need for further success.

You can grab your ticket here. They’re limited so get them while you can! We’re 40% sold out!

Book Your Trip: Logistical Tips and Tricks

Book Your Flight
Find a cheap flight by using Skyscanner or Momondo. They are my two favorite search engines because they search websites and airlines around the globe so you always know no stone is left unturned.

Book Your Accommodation
You can book your hostel with Hostelworld. If you want to stay somewhere other than a hostel, use Booking.com as they consistently return the cheapest rates for guesthouses and cheap hotels.

Don’t Forget Travel Insurance
Travel insurance will protect you against illness, injury, theft, and cancellations. It’s comprehensive protection in case anything goes wrong. I never go on a trip without it as I’ve had to use it many times in the past. My favorite companies that offer the best service and value are:
