Who’s hiring in Phoenix? Phoenician, Lowe’s and others need workers

More companies and nonprofit groups are seeking to fill openings now that coronavirus-lockdown measures have eased and business activity is picking up.

Here are some of the larger hiring efforts by metro Phoenix employers, many of which offer entry-level positions with various benefits:

Resort offers $500 bonus

The posh Phoenician resort will host a job fair for roughly 80 full-, part-time and seasonal positions in areas that include landscaping, food service, housekeeping, spa/recreation, security and front desk. Benefits include medical and dental insurance, tuition reimbursement and a 401(k) retirement plan, plus travel discounts.

A sign-on bonus of $500 will be offered to new full- and part-time hires.

Lowe’s seeking hundreds of workers

Home improvement retailer Lowe’s, which employs around 4,800 people in Arizona, is seeking up to 600 new employees in the Phoenix metro area — part of up to 50,000 seasonal, part-time and full-time store associates being hired nationally.
